Ankle Update...and also about Gizmo
Talk about a Sunday from hell.
Xray shows no fracture, but I am going to get an MRI tomorrow because the Ortho thinks without a doubt this is a torn ligament, and he told me I was better off breaking it (it's that nice??? what a jerk!). I can't wiggle my toes and the outside part of my foot is swollen and bruised. but my toes didn't bruise and usually that's a sign of a fracture of some kind, apparently. But let me tell you, this hurts like hell. So 2 weeks in an air cast, crutches, and what do you know, I only missed the morning at work. No one better ever call me a slacker.

Gizmo is feeling better. Nothing came up in his feces when we took him to the vet, and what not. And, now that FH 'thought about it', it wasn't a worm, it was a piece of string that only moved because there was a breeze in the bathroom. I made him take it out of the garbage to look at it again and it was not a worm, but I had thought so too when he brought me to look at it. The vet gave us information on what kind of worms an animal will throw up, and what stays in there system, so I actually feel better about it.
This will be a story to tell the kids, won't it?
