ANNA! OR BTDT MOMS: DIAPER QUESTION

Is anna still here? I thought of her first b/c she is a coupon queen like me! lol

when you buy diapers.... do you have to stick w/ the SAME brand? for example Pampers or Huggies? b/c sometimes there are 1.00 off coupons for Huggies and sometimes for Pampers and then the coupons get doubled. Is it okay to use two different brands of diapers or is that not a good idea?

You can use different brands Tammy. Then you can figure out your favorite

I prefer Pampers, but I have bought Huggies because they were on sale and I had a coupon. I don't like the Supreme ones at all. The Ultratrims, weren't that bad, but I still love my Swaddlers. I'm sad that Gianna will be outgrowing them soon.

The BRU newborn diapers weren't bad at all either.

I think it depends on the baby, so are more hippy, have chunkier thighs, etc. Boys and girls are different too in how they leak. Huggies didn't work for Lyla, I preferred the Swaddlers and Cruisers in size 1 and 2, but in 3 I've been buying Baby Dry. For the most part, I only buy diapers with coupons, but I won't buy Huggies right now just b/c I have a coupon. Don't stock up too much on one brand or size just yet.

Tammy, everyone gave you PERFECT advice. You can use whatever you prefer and whatever is on sale

I have to check the prices again, but if I remember correctly that BRU brand had MANY MORE in the newborn size (per pkg), I will use them for the first few months. (If my deals are good enough, I can just stick with pampers or huggies).

IF the price IS much less for BRU, newborns dont really need that much support as toddlers do. They are changed often enough for the diapers to be good enough, if that makes sense. and they poo and pee 'a little squirt' compared to toddlers, BELEIVE ME!

I prefer Pampers brand, but I still have some Huggies from sales/coupon combos.

Also, the price for wipes. Ive gotten 80count for as little as $1.25-$1.50 (even the WB brand are like $2.29 for 80ct, the little box!The pampers brand are like $4!)
and just now at BRU theres a sale for 400ct for 6.99 ($1.40 per 80ct). Thats just to give you an idea. I get either the brand name wipes (if on sale/coupons) or the store brands. I actually like the store brands more.

Happy Baby Shopping!

Go on Huggies.com and Pampers.com and sign up you, your husband, your mom and a friend. They send you tons of coupons!!

I love swaddlers and ONLY buy diapers with my 15% off from BRU and a manufacture coupon.

I love the Costco wipes!
