hey ladies, you are too sweet to worry about me. Sorry I haven't been on. My grandmother passed away so I was busy with the wake and funeral the pass few days.
UGH, so my post from tuesday stemmed from a HUGE mix up and miscommunication and general stupidity.
What happened was on tuesday, I stayed home because of my grandmother passing and DH went to work. He called me and said something weird just happened and that the chick at the building lobby desk asked what happened to me. He was confused and she said 'Anney's not allowed in the building'
So he's calling me and asking if i have any idea about this and of course I'm shocked and clueless. Even if I was laid off, why would they bar me from the building unless I did something really bad???
So I called my boss and ask him if he knows anything about this and he says no, and that it has to be a mistake. He says he will go talk to the building and find out who gave those orders because he didn't.
DH calls me a bit later and tells me that the the order had come from a woman that works for our client.
So then i really freak out because I have no idea what I did. All morning I'm just waiting for phone calls to hear what is going on.
Well long story short. It gets straightened out. Months and months ago, I dealt with this client via email regarding some things and I followed up one email with 'I won't be here so please contact so and so' I obviously meant I won't be in the office because of VACA or whatever the case was. But she took it as I won't be with the company anymore

So fast forward months, she sees my name copied on an email from the building management and takes it upon herself to tell building management that I'm no longer with my company meaning to get me off the email chain.
THEN the building lobby girl twists that into I'm not allowed in the building?! I saw the client's original email, it just said 'she's no longer with the company.' Why the hell would you tell my husband that I'm not allowed in the building?!!
argh so I got anxiety all day for no reason but people can't mind their own business or can't keep their stories straight.

anyway, all is fine with that. I am back at work today and they didn't tackle me at the front desk so I guess I'm cleared
