Re: Anniversary
the reason i ask is my family never gave gifts for anniversarys. we always just gave a card because we left that the anniversary is the time for the couple to celebrate and that its really just between the two of them...
well Fh completly agrees with me, and his parents anniversary came up and he picked up a card and some scratch offs for the, (which he has done before) and his parents are really upset at us about this. they are mad that we didnt put any effort in it. but they also tell us we should be saving our money. i feel bad cause i can see it is upsetting fh but i also dont feel we did anything that wrong.

Re: Anniversary
when we were kids my sister & i would make them cards. then they would go away for the weekend & we would stay over someones house. that was a gift enough. my sister & i hated sleeping any place but our own home. last year for 25 years they went to vegas so my brother, sister & i paid for them to see a show while they were there.
