Is anyone doing the anniversary dance (I think that's what it's called) at your wedding? Where all married couples come up to dance and the DJ asks them to leave the floor if they haven't been married more than 5 years... then more than 10 years, etc. And the couple who's married the longest is left standing at the end. We want to do this but a) we need a song for it and b) we need some sort of prize to give out. I know typically this is done in place of the bouquet/garter toss, and the prize is usually the bouquet and garter but we want to do both. What can we give as a prize???

We did this. We used Through the Years by Kenny Rogers and we gave them a bo-k.

I was thinking of this, or maybe a bottle of wine?

Re: Anniversary Dance?
We are doing that dance too. We are trying to get my Nana and Grandpa to come down from Florida, it's really hard for them to fly now because of their conditions. If they were at our wedding they will be married 65 years on Sept 6, which will be the longest married couple at our wedding, so already plan to play their wedding song for them. If they don't make it to the wedding, we will still play their wedding song in honor of them and mention how they are married 65 years. I think for the prize we will do a bottle of champagne.
I just so hope they will be there though cause I will probably be crying through the whole song, not to mention there will be many times I will get emotional thinking of them.

Yeah....we are deciding between the two, but I think champagne is more 'celebratory'....but I guess it also depends on the couples you have. We kind of know who will win it already.... Are you guests more wine drinkers?

We did this and it was such a big hit. We used the song 'Still The One' by Shania Twain. Maybe a box of Godiva Chocolates would be a nice gift along with the bouquet.

Well I am only gonna have 1 toss bouquet and 1 toss garter so I won't have another to give the winners of the anniversary dance.

We're going to do it at our wedding. And we're using the song 'Could I Have This Dance' by Anne Murray.

Re: Anniversary Dance?
We're doing it in lieu of a bo-k toss, so the prize is the bo-k. We're using 'I Could Not Ask for More' by Edwin McCain. I wanted to use it as our 1st dance but like 1/2 the couples we know used it, so it should be a nice touch.
