Anniversary Ideas

Someone started a thread about 1 year anniversary ideas and that got me to thinking about what my DH and I could do.

I read a lot of people said they were going away, but after talking to DH about it he really didn't seem that crazy about the idea.

I would like to do something with paper, as the first anniversary is traditionally the year of paper. I looked online and found stationary, boardgames, magazines, etc, I would like to do something a little more personal and something that we can do together. I/we am willing to spend the money for the perfect gift... ANY IDEAS?

We didn't go away for ours. We went out east for the day & just spent it together! We went to dinner & I had a replica cake made up!

In terms of his gift, I wasn't really sure what to do, so I decided to do a shadowbox to hang in the office. The backround has the defination of 'husband' & then I included a picture of us from our wedding & our first dance song lyrics. DH loved it!


Now the new modern '1st' anniversary gift is clocks, so you could get DH a nice watch
