Announcement or Save the Date

So, I have been deliberating about what to do with the engagement announcements & save the date magnets.....

1) Send out Save the Dates with the engagement party invites and the annoucements card with Save the Date to the people I am not inviting to the engagement party.

OR

2) Send the Annoucements to everyone we are inviting to the wedding with the Save the Dates.

I can't believe that this is one of my headaches. I feel like it is so early in my planning to have these worries.... Thank you for your imput....

I personally like Save the Date's better. But definitely send them by themselves not with the E-Party invites.

I agree too.. Are you having an E-Party. If so, what we did was give the magnets out at the E-Party as favors and everyone loved them

i think you should have your save the dates ready to go so you send them with Thank you's for the e-party and then just mail the rest out to those you invited. I think it is a cute gesture, in my opinion. =)

good luck and its okay...im just stressing about making damn appt's to meet with reception halls.

Thank you girls... I like the idea of sending them in the Thank you cards for the E-Party or giving them out at the E-Party.

I agree...I had my e-party in June and sent out the save the date magnets in the thank you notes and whoever did not come to the party I just mailed it out seperate.

I originally wanted to leave them on the table at the e-party and have people take them on the way out but my sister talked me out of it saying that people might forget it.

I am sending save the dates after my engagement party by themselves so people do not forget or just put them on the fridge with all the other magnets. Someone advised me to wait until it got alittle closer before I mailed them. I haven't decided when to send them. After reading all your posts maybe it is not to early.
