announcing grandparents

Do the grandparents get announced like the rest of the bridal party at the reception?

All the weddings I have been to they have been announced with the bridal party and parents of the bride/groom.

I think you can do it and you dont have to do it. The last wedding I went to the bride's grandparents were introduced but they were about 90 I think and it took a while for them to actually walk in. It was very cute but I kinda felt bad from them. Not sure if we are doing cause my grandma is also a very slow walker.

We've always done it my family. I only have 1 grandparent left and she has always been a huge part of my life so she will definitely be introduced!

both of my granfathers have passed away so my grandmothers are the only ones here. its hard enough without there significant others so im not annoucing them with the bridal party. fh's grandparents are passes away as well...so were skipping over this part. but i have seen it done.

what do you do?

when you fiance wants both his grandparents introduced but you have 4 step-grandparents that you really don't need introduced??????

Any suggestions???

We're definitely doing it... My Grammie is going to be 93 two days after our wedding & FH's Grandpa is 83...they're the BEST and we could not leave them out!
