annoyed

okay so i know i am not supposed to talk about the wedding at work since i am not inviting my coworkers ( well not those that sit near me ) BUT i just cant help it and every one is really excited for me.

There is this one girl, she is a little older than me and has gone through the whole wedding thing kind of recently so I really enjoy talking to her. She is not a typical 'bride' so she doesn't 'get' some things - she really didnt care about her wedding. . . she just wanted to get married

Anyway, so she does this to me ALL THE TIME but I keep going back for more!

I will mention something to her like 'Oh I am going to order BM dresses' and she will be like OMG YOU HAVE TO CALM DOWN

Today I was talking to her about the rehearsal dinner very calmly ( i thought ) and she is like WHOA YOU NEED TO STOP - YOU ARE STRESSING OUT - WHY DO YOU WORRY ABOUT EVERY LITTLE THING

so I was completely caught off guard and I tried to explain that I wasn't stressing at all I was just excited and nervous and this was just how i am etc

and then she said well just bc that is the way you are doesnt make it right you should make an effort to change that about yourself

Okay well I know I am flawed. . . but trust me if I was going to go around changing myself I have many other things i would start with!!

I TOTALLY understand that she means well - but it is so frustrating to me that i cant express myself and she doesnt believe I am not stressed. . . . I kept trying to explain that if i WAS stressed i would be VERY quiet and I WOULDNT be talking but she was kind of condescending and didnt believe me

ok this is just a vent sorry it got so long. . .LOL. . . i ALWAYS say I am going to stop talking to her about the wedding but she asks me! I have to keep my big fat mouth shut!

arghhhhhhhhhhh people should just keep their mouths shut (your co worker)

A co worker of mine just got married 7/7/07. She talked about her wedding everyday...everyday. And yeah, sometimes I was like but I listened....it's just the polite thing to do! BTW her wedding was amazing and beautiful and one of the best I've ever went to BECAUSE she cared so much!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: annoyed

that is awful!! what a jerky person. dont let her get to you. some people just dont get it and think they know everything. She obviously has issues that go deeper than you and your craziness about the wedding

Just give up trying to explain to her because she is just not going to get it, and keep reminding yourself when you get the urge to tell her something about the wedding that she acts like that.

Im sorry that you are dealing with that.. that is such a joke. You should put her in her place. If it were me and she started getting loud about something i would do it back to her..

Re: annoyed

i dont think she means well at all... it sounds like she asks you so she can turn around and insult you.. i think sometimes when you say i have to do this, this, and this... it may sound like your stressed but you were just answering her questions.. maybe she says it so in her head she can be like oh im glad i wasnt stressed about my wedding.. when really she probably did care but didnt want to seem that way... and you arent stressed at all when talking to her and she wants you to be so she can feel better about herself...

just psychoanalyzing here.. dont mind me.. lol

Re: annoyed

Some people are beyond ridiculous. Just stop talking to her and sharing things about the wedding with her. I wouldve told her off.... What nerve she had telling you to change things about yourself. Who the H-E-L-L is she!

some people are so clueless, and that just shows that she does not even know you, maybe type up alist of things she should change and put it on her desk,

first of all i hate her.

second of all, she is a stupid jerkface.

third, next time she tells you just because you're like that doesn't make it 'right' you should tell her just because she's a natural b!tch doesn't make it right. and then say 'F U !!!!!!!!!!'

god i hate people who just can't keep their negativity to themselves. if you don't have anything nice to say then SHUT THE F UP!

RAAAAAWR!!!

lol...ok i'm done.

sounds like she`s jealous to me! maybe she wishes that she would have done more or cared more about her wedding!

Here's an idea! Next time she says something, say this:

'Well, you're not invited to the wedding anyway, I'm not sure why I even bother to talk to you about it!'
