OK so I ordered my dress in Feb 08 and it is still not in. I understand that maybe they didn't want it sitting in their shop for a year because my wedding isn't until Dec 09. But every time I call to ask what's going on they tell me it will be there in 2 weeks. They said that in may, may came and went no dress. In June they said it will be in at the end of June. Again no dress. July they said in a week still no dress. I called last week they said it would be in this past thurs. Guess what NO DRESS!!!! I am starting to get worried and extremely annoyed. I just wish they would stop telling me something that is SO obviously not true!
I have a right to be upset, right? What should I do?

go there and talk to the manager or someone in charge. Tell them the whole thing, and say I just wanna no whats going on and where my dress is . You def should have gotten your dress in by now

Honestly, your wedding is in Dec. I wouldn't worry until end of Sept. It's probably better that your dress isn't just sitting there.

You absolutely have the right to angry and I would definatelt go down and discuss your concerns with the manager. Take your mom or someone to help you yell :-P

I'm getting married in September and my dress came in at the end of July. You have time so I wouldn't stress too much.
If anything, call them and tell them that you keep calling and they keep telling you two weeks and I call in two weeks and no dress. In all reality, to save time for myself and you, when can I expect my dress to come in?

You have plenty of time to get your dress.. mine is still not in and i ordered it last july.. however they should NOT tell you its coming in like they have.. I would march my hiney down there immediately and talk to a manager... Its one thing to tell you they normally dont get it until X amoutn of weeks before the wedding.. but its another to keep telling you they expect it and then dont get it in.

I agree with everyone here...go down and speak to the manager in person about this problem, and bring someone with you who is not afraid of confrontation!!! Although you have time to get your dress in, the point is they are not being honest about whatever is going on with it and you deserve an explanation!

Thanks everyone. Im going to go down there on Tuesday and speak with the manager. Hopefully they will have better answers than 'it will be here in two weeks' and then it doesn't happen.

Oh I defintly agree. I think it should have been ordered when you paid for it (or put the deposit down). Id call every day till I got my dress...haha, but thats just me
