Annoyed about RSVP's

I am getting so pissed.

My RSVP deadline was a week ago. I started calling people and people are saying that they'll know in a few weeks. My wedding is in 3 1/2 weeks. Are you kidding me? Some of these people are family and close friends who got their STD's 10 months ago. We are having a small wedding. I will have to scramble to find other people if they say they can't make it 'in a few weeks.' This is so rude!

I can't believe the nerve of some people! Could you write them and say something like: 'we are ordering our [placecards/favors/seating chart] on Friday and need to know whether you will be attending by then. We have no flexibility with our vendor beyond this date.' Blame the vendor!

thats a terrible response- I dont get whats so difficult about RVSPs really- you're either busy or not, its not brain surgery

sorry that you are going through this- you may want to call & tell them you are counting them as a no since they havent rsvp'd- good luck
