so when i went in there yesterday due to their big clearance event, i noticed 3 of my registry items were clearanced. Do they not notify you when this sh*t happens?
i thought that they did...i know macys would send me emails but im unsure about BBB
Yes, I've gotten emails notifying me when items are being discontinued. Just got one like 2 days ago actually.

I noticed the same thing. I had to register onlne and I notice some things are not available onine now because they are on clearance. You just have to go into the store and hope to find them.Thankfully they weren´t important things . . like my kitchenaid!!

You would think since they ask for your email address, phone number, home address they would be able to get in touch with you on stuff like this.

When we registered they told us that they don't notify you... instead, the woman suggested we go back to the store when it gets closer to the shower time and they can scan the registry and let you know then whats been discontinued so that you can replace those items with new ones... I'm guessing my shower is gonna be in January, so i'll go in late October to have that done...

but i don't want something new. it took me long enough to pick these friggin things out considering how picky i am . i mean, what does BBB expect?![]()
I was told that they might discontinue certain colors of sheets/towels, and if the line is discontinued I might not get an email. So I stalk my registry because already my towel colors and sheet colors aren't available, and I replace them with new colors.
how can u tell if it is clearanced or unavailable???????
I would check you junk mail.... i know they contacted me when a few of my items when on clearance or were discontinued.

Normally they do. Maybe it was a fluke accident.
They don't - the only time they notify you is if it is a very popular item - than that is when you get an email
Weird... I have definitely gotten an email from them notifying me about the discontinued corningware that we registered for....
