Annoyed beyond belief

Last night I went with my mom for her 2nd fitting. At the first fitting her dress was a little snug and we were told there was an inch on each side and they would let the dress out for her. When we showed up last night my mom put the dress on and it was even TIGHTER than it was at the first fitting. We are almost convinced that they took the dress in rather than taking it out. To top it all off the seamstress pricked herself with a pin and starting bleeding and got drops of blood all over my mom's dress her dress is dark blue and they told us 'not to worry it will come out with the dry cleaning products they have.' They now want us to come back 10/4 and I personally think that is too close to the wedding in case they mess it up yet again.... do you ladies agree with me? do you think I should call them back today and demand they give us an appointment next week. HELP

i actually don't think 10/4 is too close to the wedding.

BUT, i don't think it's wrong for you to demand another appointment earlier if you aren't ok waiting till then.

I'm just upset and feel let down because they swore at the first fitting that it was fixable and they had everything under control when clearly they didn't

I agree about the date being ok, but I'm hoping that they get things right this time and you definitely have the right to be concerned. If you feel that strongly about it, call and ask for an earlier appt, especially if you're that worried.

ok so maybe i'm just over exaggerating if you guys both think it's not too soon before the wedding I will just keep it as is

ETA: I guess I just keep assuming the worst that it's never going to fit and that we are going to need a new dress
