So I spoke to m*i*a* and booked her for a trial and day of wedding.
Her assistant just informed me that she was looking at the wrong day and she is booked the day of my wedding.
She offered one of her team members to do the trial
has anyone ever had one of m*i*a*s team artist and if so how were they??
I am annoyed that she is now booked and is unable to work my wedding, I have seen great pics of her work.
If in my situation would you book a team member or go elsewhere?

Sorry she is booked! She is booked for my date too, I was upset at first, but then I realized that there are SOOOO many great hair/makeup people out there. Don't worry you will find someone great!!!

are her team members as expensive as she is? if so, i would shop around a bit. she does great work, and maybe they do to, but if you aren't getting her i think you should explore all your options. esp. at that price. JMO

she was booked for me as well and I haven't heard much on her assistants so I tried someone else. I have a trial next month.

couldnt have said it better! i personally am not a fan of her work... am looking for something more natural

IMO all her makeup applications look exactly the same anyway, so i wouldnt be interested to begin with... if you want to try someone else i have a reccommendation. let me know! and good luck with whatever you decide :)

I agree, so many good people are out there! I am also looking for recommendations for M U artists. I love M.I.A.'s work and Oksana's work but they are too much in demand. Sometimes, I feel like when that happens something always suffers. Either the clients, the work, their attitude towards the job, and so on. IMO.
