Annoying!!!

Today my sons class threw a mothers day tea. Everytime I go to the school I get weird looks. Last year I actually had a mother make an extremely rude comment to me about my age and having 2 children. Well this year the kids made us a book and had to read the first page to the whole class. All the mothers in that class were 40 and up. Well When my sons turn came he read to the class that I am 26 everything got really quiet and they all turned to look at me and then after a few mothers came up to me making comments like 'Are you really 26?' WoW god bless you!' and you are too young to have a 1st grader or WOW soo young too have 2 kids. And as I was walking out one mother said We all were talking and can't believe your 26 with 2 kids.

I know I shouldn't let it bother me but It is soo annoying. I have always gotten looks because I had my son so young but really people need to just STOP!! It's ridiculous. I think they expect me to be a horrible mother b.c I am young but I gave up everything for my kids all the the things young ppl do and to be honest. My son is the best dressed cleanest boy in his class. He matches and his clothes are new and no holes or dirtiness on them. The mothers are really rude and don't ever make any attempts to talk to me. I live in hauppauge and the ppl here are really uptight in my opinion and all they do is gossip. I can't wait to move out of this town.g Hopefully the next town will be more young mother friendly.

I'm sure you are a wonderful mother!! My mom had my brother at 18 and me at 20 and I wouldn't trade her for the world! Let those biotches talk, they're probably just jealous of the hot young mom! Don't let them get to you, hold your head high!! You don't have to prove sh*t to anyone but your children!

And don't worry...my best friend is 26 with three kids under the age of 4 and just like you, they are the best dressed most behaved children I've ever seen. So screw them all!!!

I am so sorry for your loss that must have been so hard for the kids.

Don't let it stress you...I'm 33 with a daughter in 9th grade (I had her when I was 18)...I'm always the youngest mother

I look at it as a good thing..even though I had her young I have paid for her to be in private school her whole life and all the other wonderful things she gets to do. Most older parents don't do that.

Plus I look way better than the other moms

That is really annoying... how many of our parents had 2 kids by age 26?? It's not like you're 18 with 2 kids...
