Annoying Response!

FH invited his friend from 1st grade to our wedding.. They have been great friends since and they still talk all the time... About 1yr ago he moved to North Carolina.. He is getting married as well in Feb 09 and he called us about a month ago and asked us if we would fly there for his wedding... FH and I were looking to book tickets and a hotel to go and I recieved his response back today saying he would not attend! I understand he's far away and he works but FH and I were not only taking the time off work, but we were going to stay there for the week before to help him out with wedding stuff... FH is very upset!! I don't even know what to say to him.. Plus, we even offered to him our spare bedroom! At that time he said yes and now all of a sudden he just said no... Maybe he has a good reason, I don't know, but I still think it's a little wrong!

Sorry, I had to vent that...

That is odd....I mean to ask your FH to stay and help with his own wedding and then not attend yours is wierd...FH should call him,,,hopefully he has a good reason.

I am so sorry to hear that. I am sure there is something pretty significant that is keeping them from coming for you two

I'm so sorry!! I totally agree with you that that's wrong. Please have FH call and get to the bottom of why he isn't attending your wedding! I'm sure there has to be a good reason....but...if there isn't, I would definitely think twice about your promise to help and attend FH's friend's wedding
