Anyone ever get a mystery gift?...300$ on honeymoon registry, givers identity withheld on request!

He is a very very sweet guy and still calls me on my b-day.

that is a little bizarre to leave an anonymous gift....could it be easy to make a mistake like not click a box or something???

there are several sites, I used traveler's joy and have been very happy..there is also honeyfund, and honeymoon wishes, and others.
Some require you to plan your honeymoon. TJ just lets you make a plan and the money goes into an account.
I have loved it!
There are also some resort companies that have them, Starwood, I think.

I think it is just sweet of someone to do that, especially since it is anonymous! Enjoy it and the fact that someone cares about you enough to do this for you.

TJ takes 7.5% of your gifts at the close of your honeymoon fund.....

That is true...and a downside. Honeyfund takes nothing, but it is trickier to use.
For me, TJ has been worth it, they are very good with notifications and their thank you note area, and even built an icon for something I wanted, but the fee is one thing going against them.
