We had a 'reveal' at 8 am on our wedding day (or ceremony was 11:30) and it was in the lobby of the hotel. I came down the stairs all dolled up, and he stood at the bottom in his tux. The photographer was there and captured it, and it was a really wonderful moment. Some of our friends and family were up and saw, which was also very sweet, and I was glad we could capture it.

Then we went and did photos, first at the hotel, then at the RH in the gardens / Milleridge Village. It was wonderful!!! The sunlight was perfect, the weather was incredible (which was surprising because it was an 80% chance of rain that day!). We felt very lucky and fortunate to work out our timeline that way.

At 11, I went upstairs with my ladies to the bridal suite and DH stayed downstairs to greet guests as they arrived. There were mini muffins and coffee for guests too. The moment I walked up the aisle and saw him standing there, it was still just as magical and amazing and my eyes teared up and I couldn't stop smiling. Even thinking about it makes me so happy.

I'm really glad we chose to take photos beforehand. We still snuck away for a little while during the CH for some more photos -- and actually to eat!!! -- but we spent most of the CH with our friends and family which was GREAT.

It's a very personal decision, but whatever you choose will be right for you.
