What an absolutely perfect day! All of my friends and family were there to celebrate and they brought an overwhelming amount of gifts. It was held at the Metropolitan in Glen Cove.
The theme for the day was honeymoon in Italy. My wishing well was the fountain of Trevi from Rome - everyone put money and wishes in it for us.
We played a q&a game, the toilet paper dress game and bingo. Everyone enjoyed them all.
Cocktail hour and food were great. They had a 3-tier cake in my wedding colors (navy blue and pink).
The favors were pashminas - what a huge hit that was!
I could go on forever - my sister and mother did not miss a beat. I was also given my old, new, borrowed, blue. Each was so well thought out and special.

Thank you so much! I actually ended up getting it at Priscilla of Boston! lol I went for my dress fitting and I saw it hanging there. Someone ordered it and changed their mind. It was my size and my wedding color - it was meant to be

lol... i never actually ate my cake at the shower... i went to my parents yesterday to hang out with my sister and niece and that was when i had the cake... lol they asked me if i wanted to take the rest home and i said absolutely not...

That was good thinking! For some reason I said yes. And now it's there...taunting me every time I try to just get some water!
