Had the day off today so I got all those invites in the mail! Phew - great to get that done! Now I can't wait to start getting the rsvps

Saw your wedding date, and I need to get my behind in gear. I think I'm going to send mine out between Christmas and New Years. Which means I need to work on getting these things addressed. Which means, this is the last weekend before Christmas that it'll be just the two of us. Which means... we have a job to do. Oy!

Another Big Check - Long Island Weddings

I think getting them out between Christmas and New Years is perfect. I had a random day off from work yesterday, so it was easy to get done with no distractions (including from FH, who would have likely slowed things down if he tried to help, in all honesty). I had 75 invites and it took about 2 uninterrupted hours at the dining room table- making sure things were placed in order and all pretty, and that the response cards were # correctly, etc. Since the post office is literally a 5 min walk from our house, things went that much faster. Get something to moisten the envelopes, though. I forgot and I can still taste glue ;)
