So as we all know I have one BM that can't zipper her dress..
Well I get a call last night and now my other BM dress wont zip. I have 3 BM's so 2 of them can't zipper up their dress
I am pretty pissed though because we ordered my other BM's according to the size chart and got her a size larger and it still wont zip. The cut of the dress is so weird and Im just so pissed off right now.
My sis orderd a size too big for her and she almost couldnt zip it either. It took 2 people and then after we did get it zipped she had so much room in the chest area. The back of the dress is cut so weird and I dont know W T F to do!!
My first BM tried to have material taken out and she said there was NONE to take out... and that adding the material is going to look very weird.
I am so freaking stressed out now and worst part is they are all getting it altered at different places so they are going to look different.

OMG!!!! I am soo sorry your going thru this...is there anyway to get maybe another dress for them??? I know its sooo close to the wedding.

Im going through something similar. I have one BM that just gave birth and is unsure if the dress will fit.
I have another 2 BMs that will be 5 and 7 months pregnant.....I am worried we'll have some issues also.
Is there anyway that adding some panels wont look weird? Is she certain that it wont look good?
Also, cant they take out the zipper and move it?

Jim Hjelm.. I should have known. I have had issues in the pst with his dresses at a wedding I was in... all of them came in SO small and there was no material to let out... but that is why I had the girls (except that one BM) ordere bigger sizes

I dont know yet. I wish I could be with them when they went to get fitted but one is in Florida and the other is a Nurse and works opposite hours than me so she is going when im at work

Oh no...I didn't realize this was Jim Hjelm. That explains a LOT. Some of his dresses are super tiny...but go figure, my sister's, and mine, are all pretty big. I'm so sorry this is happening.

This happened to a bunch of us for my friend's wedding in November. Speak to a manager and make sure they help you. They were able to rush a few more dresses and some of us were able to switch sizes so they only needed to order us 2 more dresses. They were really rude about it at first but when we pointed out that they should have told us to order bigger sizes, they were more inclined to help us. Call and see what they can do for you!

this sounds like a good idea and if you feel like you can't handle it, can you ask your mother, or someone else to try (and i don't mean like you won't be able to manage them but I think that a lot of the time the stores assume brides are ridiculous even when they're not so they don't take it as seriously as they would with someone who won't be as emotionally invested if this makes sense)

Aw...that suckks so bad when that crap happens. Sizing is SO weird. This happened to me once though and we just got the backs cut out and had it laced up. It worked like a charm and would also tighten the top up! HTH.

OMG that stinks.....honestly I know it's going to be an expense you werent counting on but I would go to Macys, Bloomies, Lord & Taylor....any dept store and get 3 new dresses....you might be able to find something since you only have 3 BMs.
