Another BP question today lol

So I have decided that I want my 17 year old cousin to be my MOH, and my 15 year old cousin to be a bridesmaid. I sent my aunt an email yesterday letting her know what I decided and also asking her blessing on it. She said of course they can do it, so now I just have to figure out how to ask them.
My aunt offered to make a nice dinner and have me come over and ask them then...or i could take the two of them out to dinner or something...or i could wait until christmas eve (christmas eve is bigger in my family than christmas day) and include something 'brdal party' in their gifts with a hand written note asking them...
What do you girls think?

I LOVE the christmas eve idea! it's a sure way to make them feel special in front of everyone.

Ok so I have a ? for you....I want to ask my cousin as. I have a demlima I have 4 girl cousins one i was going to ask to be a jr BM and another to be a BM but my mom said If I ask them I have to ask my other twin cousins who are older and single Im not sure what to do. id like them to be in it but i was trying to keep my bridal party small. I also was asking my little boy cousin to be a jf gm and i also have another non social cousin the same age do I have to ask him too? Im so confused?

Gaby, I love the christmas eve idea, you could give them MOH/BM tanks or something like that

see i have a super small family, and these two cousins are my only cousins i am close with (i call them my sisters...) so it wasnt a question.
So since you have 4 girls cousins, one will be a jr bm, another cousin a bm, and the other two you arent sure of...If your not super close with the older two cousins then dont worry about having them in the party, maybe you can involve them in another way, reading at the church, special toast at the wedding...You have some time to make up your mind so dont stress it now, but just think of other ways to involve them that would make everyone happy...

Gaby, christmas time is a great idea. was what i was going to do too. but like someone mentioned to me earlier if you are going to be not including all your cousins then maybe the small dinner at your aunts house would be nicer. just so you don't hurt anyone else's feelings.

Kim, IMO you can ask who ever you want. its your wedding & if you want a small bridal party then stick to that. if your other cousins are older just tell them your feelings and they will understand.

i think christmas ever i love that idea i might borrow it. I just ordered from LTD collage frames and going to put pics from now and from when we were little and give it to them and ask them to be in my bp

My mom's thing about it is they are in theyre 30's and prob wont get married and they were supoded to be in my sisters weddin but she decided to elope so this is the only wedding they'll prob be in

thanks girls!! any good ideas for the xmas 'bridal party' gift besides a shirt or tank? I was going to get them a shirt, but want to get something else too...

get them an ornament!! you know the kind that can be personalized in the middle of the mall? and have the person write will you be my bridesmaid on it! HOW CUTE!!!!!

I had a similar issue to you with my cousins. I have 3 girl cousins and I'm only asking 2 of the to be in the bridal party. One I'm using as a jr BM and the other as a BM. I feel bad leaving my 3rd cousin out, but I'm not as close to her and I will use her for a reading or something. My 2 cousins that I picked are just younger versions of me, so we are really close.
