Another cake question!

What kind of icing did/will you have on your cake?

1. Fondant
2. Butter Cream
3. Whipped Cream
4. Ganache
5. Other

And why did you choose that type?

Lisa, who was your baker?
and did you like the taste of the fondant?

We used Audreys - Lovin' Ovens bakery.

To be honest, I don't remember the taste so much. I only had the one bite that Al fed me - which was almost all fondant, but I wasn't paying much attention to the cake. I know Al really enjoyed it.

Generally I find fondant to be rather sweet, but since our cake was a napolean with alternating layers of pastry and cream - the inside wasn't sweet at all so we thought it'd be ok if the frosting was.

In a few weeks, we'll be eating the year old cake - I can tell you how it held up

I want Whipped Cream. FH likes Buttercream but I don't.

We'll see what happens when I talk to my hall about it.
