This is the second catholic school that I am at that is in jepardy of closing. And this morning TWO schools int he area were closed...
Please say a prayer that St.Anselms stays open.... I need this job just for another year!

I will pray!!!! Trust me.... I know how this goes.. FH's mom taught catholic zchool for over 20 years... and.... FH is currently looking for a FULL TIME ELEM SCHOOL JOB.... anywhere and everywhere.. public or private!!!

I will pray they stay open-- i hate seeing schools close, especially for the kids that need some stability in their lives

Awwww..that's a bummer! I'll definitely say prayers and keep my fingers crossed for you.
My Catholic high school closed after my freshman year. I had to start all over again in a new school my sophomore year after all the friendships had been formed. It was traumatic for me, I can only imagine how much harder it is for kids who, like you say, need stability in their lives.

Theyre closing in June....but theyve officially 'shut their doors' last night which means no registration

I did student teaching in public school... not that it was bad... just not somewhere I see myself...
