Another CHECK!
I have some girls in my bridal party who wanted shawls so to eliminate the expense for them, I said I would pick them up. So, for months I have been searching for the fabric because Bill Levkoff fabric is PRICEY! They want like 35 bucks PER yard! To make a decent shawl, you need about 3 yards.
Anyways, I went to multiple fabric stores and found NOTHING. The girls are wearing black and black is one of the hardest colors to match. You'd think it would be simple but there are so many shades of black out there.
I searched the internet for shawls. David's Bridal popped up. They have lovely satin shawls for 20 bucks. I said to myself it probably wouldn't match but whatever, I'd give it a try.
SO, I went to David's in The Source yesterday (Fortunoff's is still a MADHOUSE!) and my swatch matched their black shawls PERFECTLY!![]()
I was SOOO excited. So, I got 5 shawls for 100 bucks! So that means the girls are getting more nice gifts from me. ![]()
