Another Check!

We found our DJ! FH and I booked with After Hours tonight! We checked out a few other DJ companies, but I think that After Hours will make my guests feel the most comfortable and bring a laid-back, fun vibe to the party. I'm so relieved to have my 2 biggest vendors booked (photographer & DJ)! Now I have to slow down a bit since school starts up again next week

Yay, congratulations! It's definitely a relief to get the big things booked. :) I didn't look at DJs since we knew we wanted a band, but I see After Hours mentioned all over these boards so they must be a great choice!

I feel your pain with school - I can't wait to have a normal schedule where I get to go home after work!

I didn't look into bands, so I'm not 100% sure, but I know it's a fairly large difference. You can get DJ and lot of extras (zap photos, uplighting, and even some live musicians) in the 2K-3K range depending on the company. I saw some girls post on here that bands, on average, go for 1K per member.
