Another China question

When registering for formal china, how many of the non-place setting things (like 'covered vegetable bowls' or large platters) did you register for?

We registered for one of each of the other pieces but for 12 place settings.

Oval Vegetables Bowls: 2
Medium Platter: 1
Large Platter: 1
Coffe pot: 1

I didn't register for the covered veggie/cassarole bowl or the teapot.

I only registered for one vegetable bowl and one platter - because of the expense. Maybe later on I'll buy more myself.
I didn't register for the coffee pot for the same reason. It's $235!

I am getting my grandmother's china, so I only ordred a few new accent pcs, but as far as the bowls and stuff goes, she has 2 of pretty much everything....Always comes in handy when you are having a big meal so you have one of everything on each end of the table.

registered for 16 settings (in case stuff breaks), one of everything else, except i asked for two medium platters (i think medium? maybe large!) because it seems i'm always serving family style!
