Another cry for gift help!

My mom wants an mp3 player and I'm being lazy on doing the research.... do any of you own one that you would recommend? Can you tell me about how it costs? Thx!

How much do you want to spend? I have a creative Jukebox 2. It costed $300 new....That was last year. I have seen them on ebay for alot less now...new.

It is very easy to use and it stores over 4000 songs.

The bad thing about it is that its not compact. It is the size of a cd player but it doesnt open like a cd player.

I would also recommend Archos for MP3 player brands.

If you are going to get something smaller in memory, just know that they dont hold that much music.

I have a RIO Sport and I love it....it's so small and I just strap it to my arm when I am working out...it's great!

I have an iriver...its great 128 megs and it also has an FM radio on it. I have used it almost every day for a year and dont have one complaint!

another RIO user...you can pay under $100 (but less storage) upto I guess $300 or so?

I have an Archos (i don't know which one) .. it stores music and pictures .. huge hard drive. and it's a pretty nice size.

I got DH a Dell MP3 player. It was about $225 with GB and the size of a walkman. I can't give you an opinion on quality or anything but we have always had a good expereince with dell.
