another doggie question

hey girls,

thanks so much to everyone who reassured me earlier this week about spaying.

here's the problem: when my pup tries to poop, she whines. yesterday morning she couldn't poop at all. she kept trying, but stopping because she was clearly in pain. then i gave her a painkiller and fh told me she took a small poop while i was at work w/out whining.

this morning she took another small poop, and then jumped away from it and whined. she is NOT generally a whiner.

she is moving around fine, the incision looks totally fine, and she is eating, drinking, and otherwise seeming totally back to normal.

did anyone have this experience? do you think she needs to go to the vet?

Awwwwww, poor doggie.....

I'm not help bc I don't know whether that is normal or not, but I feel bad for you guys.......

Maybe just call the vet and explain whats going on. They may tell you its perfectly normal. My dog didnt go through that - she was just lethargic and shaky for the first few days. Id call just for peace of mind but Im sure its just from the trauma of the surgery
