Another dumb question

I would like to wear a blusher, but my dress place who I got it from told me that it goes on with a comb, and then when my father raises it, he takes it OFF, does not place it behind me. Then i heard that you can get blushers with velcro or something. Can someone fill me in on this? Thanks much!

Someone I know had it on w/velcro and they pushed it behind, although she said you could also remove it.

Why do you need to put it on w/a comb? Can't you get pins to attach it to your headpiece that way you could just flip it over?

My girlfriend lent me her veil and comb. I am planning to make my own (maybe) and she offered hers as a guide.

I hope this description helps.
The comb has some decorations on it. Behind the decorations, and sewn onto the comb itself is a half width of velcro. A piece the same size, but the opposite (to attach) is sewn to the veil.
It really does not need much to hold in in place (unless the weather is like today )
Can you follow this - its kind of a visual thing, but the bottom line is that a small piece of velcro is sewn to both pieces.

I wore a blusher, but it wasn't attached to a comb or put on velcro. I had a 2-tier, elbow length veil. I just flipped one tier over my head and it acted as my blusher. My dad flipped it over my head when we got up the aisle and my MOH just fixed it for me to make sure it was all down properly.

Just another idea if you don't want to spend the money on another piece for a veil.
