so i've decided (thanks to you lovely ladies) to give some sort of favor for my engagement party ... but how do i give it out?
My e-party is going to be a sit-down dinner at a restaurant BUT there are no assigned seats (eg: no seating chart )
Should I put a favor next to every plate? Or just have a table at the front with all of the favors? Or maybe you have a better idea?

ETA: if there aren't assigned seats, i don't know how many people will be at each table ... that's my problem

If you are giving the same favor to everyone at the party, I say just put one at each place setting.

i gave everyone large personalized hershey bars. i loveddd them lol. i did place cards and they were at everyones seat.

We didn't have assigned seating. We just put enough on the table for everyone to take one.

As the people came to give us cards and such or to say goodbye, we handed them to everyone.

We did a favor table. We did favor boxes with mints in them. We did a beautiful table with candles and flowers as well as postcards with out pictures on them thanking them for coming...

I was going to recommend a favor table as well. As the guests are leaving and saying good bye you can give them their favor.

You can have a table set up with what ever it is and everyone can take one as they leave or enter?

we did a favor per place setting. I was afraid that if I put them all on one table that people would take more than one and i definitely didn't order enough if that happened!!

we had ours by the door... we gave out wine stoppers/spouts that came in little boxes, FH piled the boxes up to look like a heart. EVERYONE took one... I think, we ordered 20 extra (not intentionally) and took home 8.

I like favor tables too, you get to say good bye to all your guests and hand them one personally!
