Do you have to put the favor on the table where they sit? If I did wine, I didn't want them to take up too much room. Did anyone do it a different way? Just curious!

I was thinking the same thing. I will probably put them all on a table in back of the dais. That's what most people do. You don't want your guests skipping out early and you know that they won't leave without their favor ;P

My cousin did bamboo plants with a small glass vase. She had them all placed on a round table that was brought out shortly after dessert so people would grab one as they walked out.

you dont have to put them at the table, you can have a seperate table by the exit. just remind your emcee to announce to take the favors as they leave so people know to do that.

My favors are with the placecards but my favors are small so they wouldn't be a burden to carry around all night or take up room at the dinner table.
With a wine bottle, I think you're better off having them presented near the exit.

i dont like the table idea b/c greedy people take more than one, and i'm doing full bottles of wine, 1 per couple....i've seen it done where the waiters bring out the favors on silver trays after dessert has been served so that every couple is sure to get one....and then hopefully some people will leave theirs behind and i'll get to have extra!!!!

I am thinking about handing them out somehow too..I am doing espresso sets (1 per couple and do not want people to take more than that). gonna speak o my Bm on how I should set it up.
