Another FLIPPING Headache...

So my BM calls my today to tell me that she won't be able to stay for the reception if she is lucky maybe for pics....Um...NO!!! Apparently.. her husband has to be at work early the next day... I knew this I had said no biggie she can stay at my house and i would take her back to PA the next day. Well now he says that doesn't work for him. Plus he does not like crowds or the food selection I am offering. To this of course i told her so tell him dont EFFING come. I don't even know the guy... met him a couple times... I swear to god if she bails on me after the ceremony...friendship DONE!!!

Sorry just had to VENT I was in hysterics after the call, not to be a whiner but damn I have enough BS with trying to get this wedding to happen I really didn't need this.

That is not right! She doesn't want to stay because her husband is a party pooper?! The work thing is just an excuse. I'm sorry this is happening to you! Stay positive and think of all the people who are so happy for you!

'Maybe for pics'???? I'd tell her not to come either. Clearly, although she agreed to be a BM with the best of intentions, she can't be there to do it. If you can't be there to be a BM, then you're not being a BM by your own actions.

This happened to us at our wedding with one of DH's groomsmen.. He brought his new girlfriend with him to the wedding & she sat alone during the ceremony b/c she didn't know anyone even though we introduced her to other SO's so she felt uncomfortable & immediately after the ceremony DH's groomsman told DH that he couldn't stay for the rest of the wedding. He didn't even stay to be introduced into the reception... I made sure DH ended that friendship
