Another florist Question

Sorry ladies...another florist question.

When you first met with your florists did you tell them upfront what your budget was? Or wait for them to give an estimate? Did you bring photos of things you like?

Any other helpful advice you can give me? For some reason I'm a wreck about flowers...what's wrong with me?

Re: Another florist Question

Relax!!! Flowers actually brought me the least stress. I had no idea what my floral budget would be. Someone told me with what I need it would be $6000 Needless to say I am paying less that 1/2 of that and couldn't be more pleased. I did bring pictures of what I liked and together with the florist we made changes. She suggested some things and I made choices based on all of that. Have you gone to see any florists yet? If you do go try to see the actual floral designer as they will have beeter knowledge of flowers and what works best together. Good luck!!!

definitely bring pictures of arrangements and flowers and colors that you like. as for quotes, i got three offers that were all over the board for the same stuff. i wouldn't give them a budget before they come in with a quote, it keeps vendors 'honest' good luck!

Re: Another florist Question

I brought pictures to Rob at Pedestals.. and he saw my vision and went with it.. He gave me an unbelievable price and gave me some discounts along the way.. and I am using more expensive flowers bc of the colors.. (mango mini calla lillies, white mini callas, roses - cantaloupe color and pale yellow) but he still did so right by us..
