Another florist question

So, did anyone see sample CP's from several florists before booking a florist? I feel like I should look around before booking but it seems as if most people book immediately.

hi colette - first of all, i LOOOOOVE ur avatar!!!

i haven't booked my florist and just looked at pictures of centerpieces - it's not a bad idea to order and see the real thing. I know someone who's very familiar w this florist's work so I may not even need to order one.

if u have a good idea of what u want, maybe have them copy it and order a sample.

goodluck!

By ordering a sample do you mean we PAY for the sample???????

I'm not exactly sure how it works but I believe that you have to book before they'll make a sample for you, but a good idea would be to ask when they will have someone else's sample there so that you can take a look and get a feel for their work. I'm using Designs by Rose and I was actually able to see my sample and someone elses she had done the same day. Rose does amazing work and has really good reviews on here.

Hope this helps!

Re: Another florist question

I actually booked my florist. I went there with an idea, tod her the flowers I wanted in it so she gave me a price per centerpiece. I gave $200 to save the day, and basically she said I dont go back until 3 weeks before when I know how many tables I have and thats when she puts the order in so I can change my mind 100 times till then if I want to. And guess what, thats exactly what I have been doing. Same idea but different arrangements are catching my eye . So yes, gather pictures but book your florist if there is one you really want to use! Hope this helped!

Re: Another florist question

Most florists will show pictures or have displays of their work. My florist actually pulled together a rough bouquet to show what I would have. This is one of the reasons I booked them--they knew their stuff and wanted to show me that.

I highly recommend Oberle's!

My florist (roots) will pull flowers and put together some ideas on your first meeting (before you book). She is awesome! Then she made my cp and bm bouquet and emailed me pics after i gave the deposit!

Also I think it is worth it shop around for the florist...you get different ideas everywhere you go! I went to 3 florists.
