another follow up banking question...

Does anyone use TD bank? I was thinking of opening an account with them so we could deposit all of our wedding money. They are open on Sunday's and that would be the only day we could do it before the family-honeymoon. I know I could always deposit through the ATM at my bank, but with that many checks....hopefully ...I am nervous to do that. We will almost definitely need some of the money on vacation. TIA

Chase is open Sunday mornings. I think I heard TD has more fees. not sure. I've had Chase forever.

I used to use TD back in Toronto (its Toronto Dominion bank - a little piece of home ) and my family there still uses them. Not sure if its similar here at all but I liked them!

We opened a joint account at TD Bank before the wedding and cashed our wedding checks on the Sunday after the wedding. Just make sure if the check is made out to 'Mr. and Mrs. DH and DW' that both of you endorse it.

'09er crashing. We opened an account there so we could deposit the wedding checks on Sunday before leaving for our HM. No problems. However, a few months later we had a problem when the BANK gave us 2 counterfeit $100 bills. Of course DH didn't notice until he got home - they wouldn't make good on them so we closed out a VERY large bank account with them.
