Another FYI - re: Wedding Bells

I originally wanted silver wedding bells to ring outside the chapel, but when I found white ones for less, I figured, who cares, I'll tie thin silver ribbon on top! Here is the link:

Thank you sooo much for posting this.
I am going to buy I guess 4 boxes, which makes about 100 bells. Is that enough for 200 guests? Is it 1 bell per couple or per person?

Marni, are you using these for kissing or for after the ceremony?

Hi Liz-

I'm doing one per person...I guess it's a personal preference. We are using them for outside the chapel, because it will be dark, so you won't see the bubbles. If they would like to bring them to the reception to ring for kissing, that's fine too.....I'll be kissing my man whether they ring them or not!!

I would order them soon though, seems like they don't have too many in stock!!!

I'll order 200 then. I'm going to have them at the reception for kissing b/c I dont want the clanging of the glasses, and I also dont want whistles (an option my DJ uses) I really like the bells - I'm buying them tonight.

I would like to use them after the ceremony too, but I am using rose petals. Is having both the petals and the bells overkill?

Definitely not overkill - whatever you want you should do!! My friend did bubbles and bells - girls got the bubbles, guys got the bells. It was very sweet!!!

lizlen2003, I am also using bells for my guests to ring instead of the clicking of the glasses. I am going to buy these bells. Bells .
I am not sure if you have seen them before.
