My friend is getting married next month. My fiance and I both know her well. He will be in China and will not attend her wedding. Should the $ we're going give be for 2 or is it ok to just give from me? I was thinking of giving $200 since he won't be at the wedding. Thoughts?
I think 200 is a good amount...give what you feel comfortable with
I usually don't give for two unless two of us come, but I don't cut it in half either, because it's still from both of you. So, for instance, I might give $150 if it's from me and FH, $200 or $250 if we're both there. But, for a really close friend, you know, it can vary!
If you both are friends with her then give from the both of you.
I guess it depends on the place and how close of a friend she is.
