Another important invite question...HELP!

My oldest friend is obviously being invited to the wedding. Her parents were invited to my sister's wedding. Her sister invited me to HER wedding. My dilemma-do I have to invite them to my small and quaint wedding even though I never ever see them????? So confused and don't want to step on any toes.....

I think you should. I had originally not planned on inviting the parents of my BP, but my mother told me it was the right thing to do. Given the excitement from them after they received the invite, it was clearly the right decision.

I think it's a personal call to be honest. There's no wrong or right answer. We invited family friends with no kids, friends but no parents, some entire families...weddings are not supposed to have cookie-cutter guest lists. Otherwise, what's the point in everyone having one? I think you'll find the answer on your own and if any toes get stepped on, you can gently explain you were confined to a limited # due to space and/or $$$.

I think you should. I know it's extra people but I think they may be hurt that they are not invited.

Is this friend married? If so, did she invite your parents to her wedding?
Would you consider them on the 'b' list if you are worried about #'s? Just an idea...

yup - I think you have to. maybe your friend will tell your parents how small the wedding is and they won't come...
