Another invitation question........

how soon before the wedding do you order them? Just curious, not like I need them anytime soon!

we ordered them WAY too far in advance....they're sitting in my room right now and we're not getting married until april!
they take anywhere from i'd guess a week to a month to arrive - so you can judge it from there!

I probably wouldn't do it until you hit the 6 or 5-month mark.

Thanks girls! I was just curious. Palebride, what made you decide to get them so early? You sound like me! I always get things done, WAY TOO EARLY!

rachel - I have no idea why we ordered them so early. I'm a little compulsive about hte whole thing....and we were talking to the wedding planner at the watermill and looking at invitations....and we found one we liked, so we ordered it - totally unplanned!
my mom was a little angry because she didn't see it before we ordered it.....but oh well, she'll get over it!
i just like to get things done! when i see something i like and i don't want to have to worry about it.
the other day i made a list of all of the things we have to do by april.....didn't even hit the second page. i have no idea what i'll be doing once the spring comes!

You'll be sitting back and relaxing, that's what! Good for you! I know myself, and nothing jumps out at me, so when it finally does, I have to jump at the chance and get it. Good luck!

Mines in five months and I ordered mine last month..got them almost two weeks ago. I only did them now as to have one less thing to do. It feels good to have almost everything done!!! yEA!!!
