Re: another london question
They have dinner cruises on the River Thames that are pretty nice. And they used to have handsom cab rides through Hyde Park. I have not been to that part of England in a while, so I am not sure if they still do that.

If the Open Air Theater in Regent's Park hasn't ended its season, that would be fun. It's just about my favorite place in London, and they put on really great Shakespeare productions. I just don't know when their season closes (since it's outdoors).

another thing, if you do not mind leaving London, any of the day trips might be nice. Leeds is a great day trip, and the castle there is beautiful. Bath is also a nice day trip and the town is very lovely.

OMG I love the Kings Arms!!! We went there one night after some tour one of the first times we went to London! ETA: Do not go see the Mousetrap though, if you are looking for a show. Everyone tells the tourists to see it...lognest running show...blah blah....it was positively awful.

I enjoyed taking a day trip to stonehenge and bath. I did not care for the day trip I took to Leeds castle - over priced and not worth it. Windsor castle however, was excellent. I have also heard that Oxford is a lovely town. I enjoyed lunch at Harvey Nicks.

Claridges is really good too!
I love Windsor, which is Southwest of London and not a long ride. The castle is beautiful and there are great bars and restaurants there too. Eton College is nearby and that's worth a visit. Another good day trip is Hampton Court which has a great maze.
You can get a London Pass which allows entry to lots of different attractions in and around London.

If you're looking for something romantic, you could do a walk through Kew Gardens. Or dinner at the Oxo Tower. Pricey, but special.
There's also a restaurant at the top of the Tate Modern that has amazing views over St Paul's.
FM me if you need anymore info - I live in London...
