Another Major (and Unplanned) Check - with a question

FH and I were in the mall this weekend (in Manchester, CT, near where he lives). We added a few things to our registry, which was nice.

On the way out, we walk past Men's Wearhouse and decided to go look at tuxes, and picked them out (sort of).

We basically picked out the vests (silver). He would like a coordinating silver tie, and the guys in wine colored ties to match the girls. We might try to find wine ties ourselves, and get each guy a unique wine tie to wear under their tux, but if not, they'll rent them.

Here is our question - how many buttons are you doing on the tuxes, and why? We don't like 3 button, it would be 1 or 2.

And for those of you doing Men's Wearhouse, what brand tuxes are you doing?

Any recommendations/thoughts will be very helpful.

Also, does anyone have any Men's Wearhouse coupons?

We ordered ours from MW. My girls are also wearing wine so the GM will be wearing the wine colored vest and tie (i think it's called herringbone) and FH in an ivory vest & tie. The tux is a Calvin Klien - two button. Just happened to be the one we liked the best. The sales guy said it was a light weight suit which FH was all over because as he said 'he's a sweat bag!'

I had a $30 off coupon for the GM but that's because I got my dress at David's

fh likes a 2 button tux the best he has been about 10 weddings and he knows what he feels more comfy in . we also went to MW fh will be in ivory like me and the groomsmen will eb in a colar called latte girls are wearing brown dresses

FH chose the Calvin Klein one button suit with a black vest and tie(his choice) and for our GM the same suit but with a chocolate brown vest and tie.

We went with the 2 button notch I dont remember the brand. I think the 2 button works on most body types too.

FH will be wearing white and the GM's will be wearing teal to match the girls dresses.

One of my friends wrote back that her husband (who is like 6'4') looks like a tree in three button. We think we are going with two button. What does notch mean?
