Another Marriage Certificate Question

Do you have to get your license in the Town you live in or can you go to another Town. We live in Smithtown but were thinking of going to Huntington Town Hall because it might be easier for us. Can we do this???

i believe so..i would just call town hall before you go...and for huntington..depending on what day you go, you need an appoitment... remember...need 24 full hours before ceremony

You can go to any town hall. I lived in Brookhaven town, he lived in Oyster Bay town, and we went to Babylon town hall. No problem.

Does anyone know hours? He works late and we're getting married in 28 days so we dont have much time.

Also, Town of Oyster Bay said it was 40 dollars. Are they all that much?
