My reception does not offer an entree selection - it is a fixed menu with one entree. The chef is more than happy to discuss ideas with me. Can people please post their entree menu selections (with descriptions) so I can compile a list of dishes to ask about.

You could consider if your place allows doing a surf and turf type of meal - where they get say Filet and salmon - or chicken and fish - that allows the guest to say I dont eat meat can I get two fish or I don't eat fish can I get two meats - I have seen this done - and have been to a few formal dinners where they have done this and it works well - the rest get a sampling of the two.

I had chateau briand w. roasted potatoes, chicken marsala napolean (stacked w. mushrooms) with mashed potatoes, and red snapper with risotto.
There was a choice of Chilean Seabass- but I didn't pick it for ethical reasons.
