OK, my mom went back to try on the following dress again and it looks amazing on her. She will either get it in the brown or the darker green. Now, here are my questions:
1) do you think the dress looks to similar to mine? Does it matter? 2) Does it look I guess fancier or too glitzy as compared to my dress?
These are really the only two concerns my mom has from ordering the dress. What do you think? Here are the dresses:

Your dress is beautiful!! I don't think hers looks fancier or detracts in any way from yours. It's a great dress,and I think it's nice that both dresses are side sweeps. If she loves the dress, congratulations! Picking my dress was the hardest decision!

No one takes away from the bride.!!!!! Both dresses are beautiful and I agree with LIMAMA that it is nice that you both have the side sweeps. Your mom will look beautiful in that dress. Good luck

Both dresses are gorgeous, but your MOB doesn't compare to your dress! The bunches are on opposite sides and hers is so dark, nothing will take away from your dress. It will have the best accessory, your glowing smile!!!!

First off I think that dress is beautiful. It's actually very similar to my moms. Her dress is the same color as the picture. I don't think that dress will take away from you at all. It has similar lines, but I think that only makes you compliment each other nicer! I actually saw a picture on here where the MOG wore that dress and it doesn't take away from the Bride at all!
