Another music check!! Also reviews on music vendors...
FH and I met with Marie Stack and decided on piano and violin for hospitality hour! She was so so so nice and her ideas are great!She's going to do modern songs like cold play which sounds so cool on a violin and then play some classical as well. If anyone needs here info she is a vendor on here and her prices are great! She also has flute players, classical trios or quartettes.
Vito Genna is who we are using for cocktail hour. We chose him because our families are hispanic and we wanted a latin flair but something classy and not too loud. He's really nice and also a great price.
We went with Royal Brass for trumpets at the church because they sound so amazing with the organ. This was FH's idea and I acted like he was nuts but once I heard them it was great. Roger is the owner and he is so nice. His office is out of his house and he is really professional and knows his churches!
And Code Bleu is the band for the reception and they are really great. Sean and Donna are husband and wife and they are band leaders and some of the things they do are really different than other bands we saw so we loved them a lot. You can't find anything on them online as far as videos go and I forgot to record them but they will be at the big showcase next week and I think they do showcases like every month.
So that's it. We are finally done with ALL of our vendors and with a year to go now it's just time for final details. Thank you to everyone on here for the great ideas and reviews that helped us make all of our appointments. This site is amazing!!
