Another one for the BTDT moms

This one is a bit strange.
I've noticed that NONE of my old shoes fit anymore and all the new stuff I've been buying has been 1/2 size up.
I read that this is expected because your ligaments loosen up during pregnancy.
BUT I also read that the 1/2 size growth is usually PERMANENT!!
PLEASE say it isn't so. I can't imagine having to give up an entire shor wardrobe and having to start from scratch!!

well i'll let you know if it goes down. I went from a 5 1/2 -6 to a size 8 1/2! I know..it's terrible - most of it is swelling, but I noticed in the very beginning that my feet were getting a little larger in general.

my mom's shoe size increased a half size with each child! I already have large feet

I am already a 9. When I have children I probably wind up with clown feet!

I know it's happened with some of my friends and family, but it didn't happen to me! My foot size stayed the same! And thank God for that, because I'm already an 8 1/2-9 depending on the shoe!!!

lol...I bet this happened to my mom...thats why she insists that she is a 5 1/2...but she buys 7s!!!

It DID happen when I was pregnant, but I think it was more that the width changed, but I still bought shoes that were 1/2 size bigger. All of my pre-preggo shoes fit, so it didn't last.
