How long before the wedding should we set up another meeting with the actual photographer/company? I'm 6 weeks out, so I'm starting to think in terms of who I need to schedule appointments with.

I would give them a call sooner rather than later bc it could have a big impact on scheduling for the day. . I asked mine how much time he needed for photos before the ceremony and then planned off of that with my hair, transportation etc. . If you are not doing pics before, then schedule hair first, then check in with photograper to let them know what time to show up to do your getting ready stuff. .

I didnt know I had to make an appointment with the photographer besides dropping off the money before the wedding?

We have to meet with our photographer one month before to give our final payment and finalize the schedule etc. Check your contract it may tell you.

I didn't go meet with him. We just chatted for a while on the phone. he was really helpful about telling me when to invite BP for pics, and family, and what point of my getting ready that he should be at the hotel for but I think everyone prob does it different so I wouldn't worry if you don't meet.
Your photographer might just go over all the details with you when you drop off money.

Maybe I will call before I drop off the money to tell them its a final payment so I can go over stuff with someone
