A real crappy situation over there indeed. They are demanding the release of all Iraqi prisoners for his release, but I doubt the US would agree to that.

I have to agree. It seems unlikely that the US would ever agree to such demands. I just hope that we get our troops out of there soon!!!!

I saw this on the news last night and there are about 10 news trucks sitting outside our maingate (I work on Camp Pendleton) doing interviews and stuff.

I feel for the family.
US Marine Corp families are proud ones.
You know the 'terms' are BS. This man will probably die just so they can say 'we tried to negotiate'.
I don't pray much at all. But I'll say this. I pray he goes bravely. And I pray we all see his strength and heroism.

One of my co-workers is actually in Iraq right now. I talked to him through AOL on Sunday. He said its crazy out there. Based on what has happened to the last couple of people they captured, my prayers are with him and his family.
