Another problem with Patchogue....be sure you dress was ordered!!!

OMG! Good luck! I cannot even imagine what you're going through! I think I'd be out for blood at this point! So so sorry!

Did you have the proper PO number? I know that that is how they order them, so they may not even know you at Demetrios by name. Just a chance!

I have definitely been worrying about the same thing. That's why I was relieved to hear that Commack Wedding Center is going to call all of the manufacturers as soon as they get our PO numbers and order sheets from Bea.

I am so sorry that you are going through this!!!!!!! I hope that it works out.

Well, now I have a bigger problem. I called Demetrios because I didnt get any answers from Commack or Patchogue. They told me that they have NO record of my dress being ordered and that I am NOT ON FILE!! WHICH MEANS, NO DRESS! I ordered it in NOVEMBER 2004!!! Bea told me that she spoke with the manufacturer and they said that the measurments didnt seem right. So I went back into the shop about 4 weeks after I ordered my dress and got REmeasured. I put a lot of money down on the dress and now I have to hunt Bea down and get it back!!! THIS $UCKS!!!

I am sorry that she did this to you too. When she did this to me in 2003 (and I ordered mine in 2002) Peter JR of Paradise Bridals helped me work with the manufacturer to get my discontinued dress. If Bob from wedding center can't help you, please contact Peter Jr at Paradise, I am sure he would help, he was sooooooooooooooo wonderful to me and all my girls in cleaning up Bea's mess.

I wanted to strangle her when I saw her on News 12 and I didn't even order my dress from there...acting like she's the victim

I wonder if Commack is going to do the alterations we were supposed to get at BS at Patchogue?

I know nothing about the Commack shop. Does anyone have a clue about them?

The whole Bridal Suite thing was on Channel 4 news a little while ago and the guy at Commack Bridal was on and said that they will be contacting everyone once they go through all the orders and no additional deposits will have to be put down. So if you put money down, they'll get you your dress, just get on them!! I am so sorry, for you and all the brides that have to deal with this. Turns a reall happy time into a horror story. That Bea lady was on channel 4 too, crying, saying she didn't want this to happen and the panic happened after Lipa shut the lights off, well what did she expect when she didn't pay them. She should ashamed and stop acting like a victim.

you still have time... just be glad you can now go to a BETTER store to buy what you want.

MrsStefan-This is MrsBill...getting married on 8/26/05...I think we might know each other.

Anyway, I also had my dress at Bridal Suite. I heard today about everything, and there were about 20 girls there in line waiting. Finally, Bea and somone else opened up the shop (you can read my post about it). I was able to get my dress and I have the address for the Commack shop. I know one of the girls I work with had a neice that is in a similar situation and she is going to Commack tommorow before 12 to figure out what is going on.

If you have the time, you may want to stalk out bridal shop or have one of your girls do it for you. She did show up there. I think some people are really just confused and don't know where the stuff is.

When I went to view my dress intially back in February, they didn't have it there...of course, but they told me it was in the warehouse, which I believe is in Riverhead. Maybe your dress could be there.... I don't know.

I'm so so sorry....If there's anything that I can do for you let me know. Good luck with everything.

Thanks! I missed that one. Bob from Commack Wedding Center told me the same thing today, but it's even more reassuring to know he said that on the news.

hey you..I am so sorry you have to go through this, but keep in mind that you still have plenty of time to re-order your dress. I am getting married 10-30-05 and I didnt order my dress until 11/04 and it came in July..If what Bill from the Commack wedding Center is saying is true, you shouldnt worry. If for some chance, you are refunded your deposit I would suggest going to another Bridal Salon and ordering your dress. I am more than sure the CWC is going to be extremely busy after all the dress orders will be sent to them PLUS all the business they have already. (no offense to the CWC)

OMG....I hope everything works out in the end...no bride deserves this
